    I only find this confusing based on my personal experience - meaning I haven't investigated statistics or anything like that. In my field, we are desperate for Tradesmen and Labor Workers. We are overflowing with people with degrees, to the point that people with Master's degees are taking low level jobs (when they can get one at all) because there aren't enough jobs to support the number of highly educated people out there.
