Why is she a bimbo? Is it because she stands for the truth and she exposes white supremacy for what it is? Or is it because she refuses to bow down to ignorance? I find it fascinating that whenever a minority exercises his/her freedom of speech to speak against racism and for social change, there's always a backlash by those who are sadly not sufficiently educated and not well-informed.

She's the youngest woman to be elected to Congress in US history. With a progressive platform and message aimed at the working class, she defeated Crowley, who represented New York's 14th district since 1999, in a landslide. She won 57.5% of the vote.

She stands for Medicare for all, fully funded public school and universities, universal jobs guaranteed, housing as a human right, justice system reform, immigration reform, new green deal to combat climate change, and campaign-finance reform among other things.

She was born to a working-class Puerto Rican family in the Bronx, New York. She graduated from Boston University, majoring in economics and international relations, and worked for Senator Ted Kennedy's office where she focused on immigration issues while in college. After graduation, she returned home and became a community organizer.

Her biography speaks for itself. She is someone who achieved the American dream. She is resilient. She stands for the people and she speaks up when needed. So no, she is not a bimbo. She is a successful politician with a humbling story and her priority is to create a society where everyone can equally thrive.

As Martin Luther king, Jr once said, "nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity" or better yet as Confucius once said, "real knowledge is to know the extent of one' ignorance"

To those who believe she is a bimbo (a ridiculous, unfounded, ignorant, and stupid claim), next time you wonder what is wrong with society, take a nice long look at yourself in the mirror.

    Shame.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is characterized by persistent and excessive worry about a number of different things. I, unfortunately, is one of its victims. I often find myself helplessly engaging in rumination . One of the many coping mechanisms I have applied is the normalization of anxiety. This may not appeal to everyone as it can lead to both positive and negative reaction. I adopt this technique as a way to reassure myself that everything is okay.

GAD affects 6.8 million adults, or 3.1% of the U.S. population, in any given year. Women are twice as likely to be affected. The disorder comes on gradually and can begin across the life cycle, though the risk is highest between childhood and middle age. Although the exact cause of GAD is unknown, there is evidence that biological factors, family background, and life experiences, particularly stressful ones, play a role.

The man who performed a tender love scene with Viola Davis [in Widows] is the same man who fantasised about killing her husband or stepson or anyone else who looked like them.

Yes, he confessed to it. But, since when did people get credit for confessing that they once thought about killing innocent people on the basis of their race ?

Sundar Pichai is an intelligent and well-accomplished man, however he failed to project a vision in which his employees can believe. This is a critical issue that merits immediate attention.

There is a growing body of evidence that suggests many of today’s organizations are run by managers who aren’t particularly good leaders, leading to disengaged employees, mediocre performance and higher attrition.

In fact, according to Gallup’s 2015 State of the America Managers, managers account for at least 70% of the variance in employee engagement scores across all business units, and disengaged employees cost up to $500 billion annually in productivity losses.

What we are witnessing is a fundamental shift in how employees view their managers, and it’s a wake-up call for companies to invest in nurturing these workplace relationships. The financial, cultural and intellectual losses stemming from poor leadership are too substantial to ignore.

  • The fact that we have people defending this man's disgusting action speaks volume....whether he likes it or not, he has no choice but to step down. Period.

And it was taken in 1984, which is fairly recent. I must say, it is time for the Governor to resign. He is no longer fit to lead the people of Virginia, a state with 19.55% of African American and 9% Hispanic. The people of Virginia deserve better.
