  • The article is a bit disingenuous seeing as most tech companies lean left so the bias will be that direction. And its disingenuous of Booker to blame a future bias on who's in prison when it would be police encounters and violent crimes statistics that would be used for an ai like that. And those statistics do show there is a higher chance of a black man committing a crime than a white man. Dont get me wrong there is definately a bias in sentencing for sure. AI could be used to eliminate that but

And those statistics do show there is a higher chance of a black man committing a crime than a white man. Dont get me wrong there is definately a bias in sentencing for sure. AI could be used to eliminate that but I think there would need to be a moderator to keep things from going to far left when the companies making the AI fire people for being conservative.

  • Well that's obvious. It's not gonna miraculously make them more qualified for a job.

  • This is not ok. Social engineering is a slippery slope. Especially when perpatrated by a for profit company with a small collective deciding what is and isnt a good social issue and what constitutes progress. This kind of thing is what led to the holocaust.

  • Pretty easy solution. Make it illegal to set them out to cruise and if ya dont wanna pay for parking send it home. Then have it pick you up after work.
