This is deeply saddening and heart breaking in terms of where our society is heading. Technology is failing to help humans in letting them truly connecting emotionally, mentally and spiritually. In world so broken where we can't understand what others express because honestly speaking showing empathy & understanding emotions doesn't come easy. At the same time sex is a need. So, technology has made it easier to escape from learning ourselves about human expression and what's called being intimate emotionally & mentally, and not just physically. I have had friends who dated guys who would watch TV or listen to podcasts etc right after sex than to talk/care/ask or just being with them. Ofcouse such people, however cool or nerdy they might be, if lacked the ability to form a strong connection or couldn't show the respect, love & maturity for being in a relationship, didn't get to be with my such deserving, empathetic & focused gfs. But what is alarming is- where is our society heading, is this a new norm, who is affected more in the relationship, what's next after Airpods?
