But so many people foresaw this happening and the fact that the GOP still peddles trickle down economics and it’s eaten up by the spoonful by their constituents is a black comedy sketch.
I live in South Africa and I wanted to watch The Mandalorian but since we’re not one of the countries that get Disney+ I of course pirated the show. Even though I have Netflix I barely watch the original shows and getting three more subscriptions to watch one or two shows from each provider seems ludicrous

While it seems like the consumers are winning with more options the economics don’t support it IMHO.
Will this be like the promised tax cut for the middle class that he promised ahead of the midterms 🤷🏽♂️
The optics here don’t look good. Mulvaney may say that it’s being held at cost but unless they open up the books why must we believe them. More than anything this is an endorsement of any leader who uses their position to profit and that has long term ramifications.
On the surface this looks good for the student/players but there are unintended consequences ie sponsors choosing certain players in specific sports to the detriment of the greater student-athlete community.
Ultimately the NCAA needs to be put in check and colleges need to rethink how they compensate

Ultimately the NCAA needs to be put in check and colleges need to rethink how they compensate student-athletes who can’t enjoy the perks of the education they are awarded and/or struggle to feed themselves in between training sessions and classes.
Hopefully this ruling will amplify this debate that’s been put on the back burner for too long.
Yeah. When you see labor as a temporary measure until you can replace it with a drone, it’s definitely not the core of your business. Unchecked and reckless growth.
People want simple answers to complex questions and that’s our downfall. Life and it’s problems are complicated and we need leaders who can help us navigate the complexity but also a populace that understands that it needs to play a part beyond the simple vote.
I continue to scratch my head over this. As an outsider it still makes no sense why the British government (the Conservative side) is pushing for what is now widely known as a no-win scenario. BJ is acting like the incompetent leader most foresaw.
