Just wondering - in this entire debate, isn't carbon offsetting the solution? We keep flying but we offset our carbon and thereby are neutral. Additionally taxing inefficiencies will ensure there's an ongoing drive to reduce emissions through technology. Isn't someone who flies a lot and has many children and eats a lot of meat but offsets his carbon footprint killing all birds with one stone?
