Video Journalist
Quartz seeks a journalist to oversee the development and production of boldly creative video that is an integral part of our storytelling. You would help lead the exploration of what video should be for Quartz and be tasked with rethinking the conventions of video online through the creation of smart, shareable video content. We see video as another important medium to convey information, much as our journalists use data visualization and charts to present analysis and tell stories. This is a role for someone who is excited about experimentation and tinkering without the crushing pressure of having to satisfy preroll ad inventory.

Things Reporter
We’re seeking a reporter to help us commit acts of journalism with code. You would be part of the growing Quartz Things team, which is chiefly responsible for our data-driven and visual journalism, from charts to interactive graphics to news apps. “Thing” is simply our catchall term for stories that break free of the traditional article format to convey information in ways that work better on the web. Developing those new storytelling methods—and empowering others to use them, as well—is the challenge of this job.

Quartz seeks a reporter to help lead its lifestyle coverage globally, with a focus that includes travel, dining, food and drink, cars, gadgets, and fashion. You would be part of the growing Quartz team in New York, and help shape our efforts to take bracingly creative approaches to covering business news.

Breaking News Reporters
Quartz seeks reporters to scan the world for breaking news and quickly offer coverage to our global readership on multiple platforms. These positions are part of a team focused on news writing, the Quartz Daily Brief email newsletter, and products currently in development. Technical Project Manager
We’re seeking a technical project manager to lead project management for the product development team.
