Last year, the Super Bowl brought in its smallest US TV audience since 2009. But more people than ever streamed the game live, with an average of 2 million online viewers.
Super Bowl 53, which will see the Los Angeles Rams play the New England Patriots on Feb. 3, could set a new record for online viewership. There are plenty of options for fans who prefer to watch online.
Stream the Super Bowl for free in the US
CBS, which is free with a TV antenna in the US and included in most pay-TV packages, has the exclusive rights to broadcast Super Bowl 53 in the US. There a few places the game will stream for free online, too:

- Yahoo Sports, AOL, and Tumblr on mobile and tablet
US subscription streaming services that carry the Super Bowl

Stream Super Bowl 53 in Spanish
ESPN Deportes is broadcasting the Super Bowl in the US in Spanish. It will live stream the game via the ESPN app. But people will need to sign in with a pay-TV provider to watch.
Stream the Super Bowl abroad
Outside the US, live online access to the Super Bowl is more fragmented. The international version of NFL Game Pass is one of the easiest places to watch the game, because it’s available in many countries. The price varies by region, but the platform generally costs between $10 and $30 for access during the Super Bowl, which includes the week of and after the game.
Some local channels also stream the Super Bowl. In the UK, the BBC will stream Super Bowl 53 online via the BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport app. In Canada, fans can stream the game without a cable subscription through the platform Dazn, which charges $20 per month for its standard subscription.
