Telefonica will offer shares of its German unit in Q4 in attempt to cut down debt

Spain’s largest phone company will sell shares in its O2 Germany unit this quarter. The telecom follows Banco Santander in offering up a piece of its foreign operations for sale at a moment when both companies are attempting to bolster balance sheets.
