One of Bill Gates’ resolutions for 2019 is to learn and think more about the use of technology in education. “For years we have been hearing overheated claims about the huge impact that technology would have on education,” he wrote. “People have been right to be skeptical. But I think things are finally coming together in a way that will deliver on the promises.” We recently asked Gates how he would educate himself if he were 15 years old today. In the video above, you can see his response to that question, and hear more about his interest in the connection between “meta-skill” areas such as self-image and educational outcomes. Gates also talks about how he remembers what he reads, and his recent participation in an anger-management session.
