Quartz recently launched an app for smart, constructive discussion about the news. We’re working to build that community and regularly adding new features based on how people are using it.
The app features Quartz Pros, some top thinkers and doers in business who have committed to sharing their takes on the news regularly. We’re expanding the group of Pros, and are excited to introduce you to the newest members of this hand-picked roster of leaders so that you can look out for them and follow them in the app.
Nicole Eagan, CEO, Darktrace—Nicole has established Darktrace as a global leader of artificial intelligence cyber defense. Her career spans 25 years working for Oracle and early to late-stage growth companies. Darktrace has 2,500 customers and a valuation of $1.65 billion.
Michelle Kennedy, founder and CEO, Peanut—Peanut is a social platform for women to connect and build community with one another, online and off. Michelle was earlier deputy CEO of social network Badoo, and a corporate lawyer.
Matthew Lieberman, CMO, PwC US and Mexico—Matthew is responsible for PwC US’s marketing strategy and execution, having provided business consulting services to PwC’s entertainment and media clients locally and globally.
Polly Rodriguez, cofounder and CEO, Unbound—Unbound is a sexual wellness company for women, hailed by the New York Times as the “ideological center of the tech-savvy, female-led women’s sexuality movement” with over 50 products created by a team of 10 women in New York City.
Jake Schwartz, cofounder and CEO, General Assembly (GA)—Jake leads GA’s growth, creating sustainable talent pipelines for businesses and building career pathways to transformational work. In 2018, GA was acquired by the Adecco Group. Jake has a bachelor’s from Yale and MBA from Wharton.
