Pearson, which owns the Financial Times, is said to be planning to sell the newspaper to focus instead on its education business after Marjorie Scardino, the CEO, steps down in January. The buyers being mooted include “wealthy individuals from Russia, the Middle East or Asia, as well as Bloomberg LP,” reports Bloomberg.
