Google creates an ominous robotic dog, and repeatedly kicks it

Google-owned Boston Dynamics has unveiled “Spot,” its latest robotic creature, which weighs 160 lb (73kg) and can scamper up and down stairs and other uneven terrain with its vaguely terrifying AI gait. In the video below, Spot’s creators also demonstrate its stability by repeatedly kicking it in the midsection, which seems like a terrible idea.
