Apple $AAPL shares fell 6.5% in after-hours trading after the company reported third-quarter results.

Apple’s all-important iPhone shipments number fell below expectations: 47.5 million, versus estimates around 50 million. And as expected, the company did not divulge Apple Watch shipments so far.
