The home-rental site says New Year’s Eve will be its busiest night of the year. It estimates that more than a million people from 170 countries will stay in accommodations booked using its service. Globally, New York City will be the most popular destination for travelers using Airbnb, followed by Paris, London, Sydney, and Barcelona.
