Politicians bankrolled by the gun lobby tweet condolences about America’s worst-ever mass shooting

As has become commonplace after incidents of gun violence in the US, lawmakers took to Twitter today to express condolences for the victims of the deadly shooting at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Igor Volsky of the Center for American Progress Action Fund in Washington, DC, has been collecting such tweets from those politicians who also accept money from the US National Rifle Association. (He did the same after the San Bernardino, California massacre in December.) Here are just a few of them. They include Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell:
