After a hard day or a long trip, nothing is more relaxing than a dip in a pool. Whether you are in the city or on the coast, Mandarin Oriental has a stunning selection of pools with picture-perfect panoramas that elevate swimming to next level. With everything from formidable cityscapes and scintillating sweeps of an azure blue sea, these pools offer views captivating enough to appeal to bold adventurers and discerning jet-setters alike.

Mandarin Oriental, Munich’s China Moon Roof Terrace features a cool azure pool surrounded by exotic plants, oriental statues and stylish wicker furniture, with panoramas of the city’s burnt-orange rooftops, the turquoise domes of the landmark church (the Frauenkirche) and beyond to the Alpine horizon.

The rooftop pool at Terrat, Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona also makes an enviable Instagram, even though it may not be designed for vigorous athletic pursuits. Its narrow strip of crystal-clear water meets a wooden deck on one side, and its view is at its most serene at sunset when the city lights begin to twinkle.

Likewise, Mandarin Oriental, New York offers a sky-high haven. Thirty-six stories up, with floor-to-ceiling windows, the 23-metre-long indoor pool has spectacular glimpses of the Hudson River. The three lap lanes offer ample space for both serious and leisurely swimmers.

The pool at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is one of the group’s most glamorous urban offerings. Located on the hotel’s 5th floor, surrounded by gardens and private cabanas, it overlooks the glorious Marina Bay and the city’s looming skyscrapers, transforming into a glitzy social scene at night.

The snow-capped Atlas mountains provide a stunning backdrop to Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, where you can choose from a range of pools. Each villa and suite has its own private water oasis, ranging from plunge pools to infinity. In addition, the resort has two heated pools. The outdoor pool is situated among the olive groves and fragrant gardens, and is perfect for family fun, while the indoor lap pool can be found in the tranquil spa.

Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum similarly makes use of its beautiful location—overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Aegean—with four outdoor pools. The main elevated pool enjoys sweeping views of the sea, while the golden sands of the hotel’s private beach lie invitingly below.
