If you think your own work-life balance might be sliding to one side, consider this: A woman in Long Beach, California, recently posted on Facebook photos of herself celebrating the joy of a job offer, posing with her offer letter on the beach and cozying up to it in bed.
“I finally found my soulmate, my perfect match, my boo,” writes Benita Abraham in her post. “After seven long months, I found the perfect job with a company that truly cares about its employees and one I will learn so much from.”
In an interview with CBS Los Angeles, Abraham said she was laid off from her job in December last year, and got a new offer seven long months later. She was so thrilled with the news that her friends suggested celebrating it with a photo shoot, as is common for an engagement or new baby announcement. She started her new job just this week.
