Sergi Santos, a Spanish engineer, has built a sex doll he named Samantha, and provided it with what he refers to as “physiological intelligence.”

The engineer has implanted sensors all over the doll’s body, and preprogramed it to respond to physical, as well as verbal cues. You may want to do nothing more than sit and watch TV with your doll, he says. But depending on what you say—and how you touch it—”she will be more romantic with you or maybe more sexual.”

Samantha has 700 phrases programmed initially and has the ability to learn up to 60,000 more. Watch the video above to see Santos interact with the doll.  (Samantha was not available for comment.)
