TORONTO (AP) — TORONTO (AP) — Alamos Gold Inc. (AGI) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $47.1 million.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 12 cents per share.

The gold mining company posted revenue of $254.6 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $210 million, or 53 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.02 billion.

Alamos Gold shares have dropped 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $11.75, a rise of 15% in the last 12 months.
