Anthropic announced Monday the formation of a new enterprise AI services firm with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs $GS, designed to bring Anthropic's Claude AI into the core operations of midsize businesses.
The new standalone company will embed Anthropic engineers within its team and work directly with Anthropic's research and product staff, the company said. Its initial customer base will include portfolio companies of the backing investment firms as well as independent companies.
Rounding out the investor group are several additional alternative asset managers: Apollo Global Management, General Atlantic, Leonard Green & Partners, GIC, and Sequoia Capital.
