A new lineup of four sliders at $1.99 apiece is now on Arby's menu, with the chain framing the rollout as a budget-friendly option timed to the summer season, the company said.
Starting June 8, customers can order the sliders in stores or online, the company said. The four options are a Roast Beef Slider, a Buffalo Chicken Slider, a Chicken Slider, and a Ham Slider. Toppings vary by variety: the roast beef and chicken sliders come with Swiss cheese, the buffalo chicken version is finished with ranch over a crispy tender tossed in buffalo sauce, and the ham slider pairs sliced ham with Swiss cheese, the company said.
Protein counts range from 10 to 12 grams depending on the variety, according to Arby's. Per Allrecipes, the Chicken Slider leads the lineup at 12 grams, while the Roast Beef and Ham sliders each deliver 11 grams and the Buffalo Chicken version comes in at 10 grams.
This new release changes the marketing focus from the original 2015 launch. Now, Arby's highlights both protein content and affordability to match current fast food trends. The bread has also changed, with the new sliders using a bun that looks more like brioche or a soft potato roll instead of the old slider roll.
Other chains are also experimenting with the slider format this season, with Burger King among those testing its own version — a King Size Sliders Box.
The sliders are part of a broader summer push for the chain. Arby's has also brought back its Orange Cream Shake, offered in small, medium, and large sizes starting at $3.69, though prices can vary by location.
