Mrinal Sen, the last of India’s new wave cinema pioneers, has passed awayMrinal Sen died of age-related ailments on Sunday morning at his apartment in Bhawanipore in Kolkata. He was 95. He is survived by his son, Kunal. His wife, Gita Sen, died in 2017.
