Jasmina Tesanovic is the author of eight books of fiction including In Exile, and more than 13 essays and short stories. At the beginning of the Balkan wars in 1990, she opposed Milosevic's regime by joining the Women in Blck and co-founded the feminist publishing house "Feminist 94."
