Jessica Kirkpatrick is the Lead Product Data Scientist for Hired, a career marketplace for the worl'd's knowledge workers. Jessica also serves on the editorial board for Data4America. Before making the transition to the private sector in 2012, Jessica earned a PhD in Astrophysics from UC Berkeley, and worked with large and complex data sets.
