Layla McCay is a British psychiatrist and director of the Centre for Urban Design and Mental Health, a think tank that explores how to build better mental health into the city. She has worked for the World Health Organization, the World Bank, the British Government, and several international development NGOs. McCay holds academic positions in international health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), Georgetown University (US), and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (Japan).
