The financial holding company posted revenue of $6.95 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $6.95 billion, which fell short of Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $5.31 billion, or $1.38 per share. Revenue was reported as $31.56 billion.
Barclays shares have declined 5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 11% in the last 12 months.
