If you're looking for a steam mop, Consumer Reports has you covered. Its experts reviewed tons of different models to find the best ones.
"We’ve found that steam mops generally do a better job of cleaning up certain messes, such as coffee stains, mustard, and ketchup, than they do on stickier spills like jam," CR said. "We also noticed that if a mop comes with different mop pads, the rougher, bristly textured pads are more effective at removing stains than the softer ones."

CR was impressed with this model's stain removal and liked that it has a place to put detergent. But it had two main complaints: the mop's cord is somewhat short and it only has one steam level. It retails for around $100.

CR said the Kenmore is great at cleaning and creates lots of steam. "What makes it unique is its scrubber tool, which is built into the mop and can be used to remove dirt and grime from tiles once the mop head is detached," it said. The runtime, though, is just average. It's on the more affordable side at around $100.
