At $40, the Yeti Rambler Water Bottle With Color Matched Straw Cap was ranked the best straw bottle. It’s easy to carry, keeps water cold, and is leakproof enough that you can put it in your bag with technology and not have to worry, CR said. After 24 hours, it still had ice in it.

The Owala FreeSip is $30 and was rated the most versatile bottle. CR liked that it came with a removable straw, is leak-proof, and ice remained after 24 hours. It gets banged up a little easier than others, though.

For $24, the Simple Modern Summit Water Bottle with Straw Lid was CR’s best budget pick, saying it’s pretty similar to the Yeti Rambler. “It performed beautifully in our durability test, showing only a few scuffs and scratches after a tumble down the stairs. And ice remained in the bottle after 24 hours in our cold test,” CR said.
