On a per-share basis, the Marietta, Georgia-based company said it had a loss of $2.08. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $2.94 per share.
The building products distributor posted revenue of $712.5 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $48.5 million, or $5.39 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.14 billion.
BlueLinx shares have climbed slightly more than 3% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $117.10, a climb of 29% in the last 12 months.
