Keyshun Jones, 23, was arrested April 17 on charges that he stole more than $80,000 from a Chick-fil-A franchise in Grapevine, Texas, by processing hundreds of fraudulent refunds to his personal credit cards after being fired, police said.
The Grapevine Police Department said Jones exploited his former employer's point-of-sale system to generate roughly 800 fake catering orders for macaroni and cheese, routing the resulting refunds into his own credit card accounts — all of this occurring about a month after he had been let go from the restaurant. The transactions totaled just over $80,000.
