  • The footage of heavily armed FBI agents arresting him without prior warning is telling. They consider him hostile to their investigation. We have to get to the bottom of what happened with Wikileaks. If that was truly coordinated the way it appears, there haven’t been many more grievous offenses against our country by an American throughout our history. Stone’s name will stand alongside the likes of Benedict Arnold.

Give me a special council with unlimited scope and 2 years to dig and I will arrest every politician and lobbyist in Washing DC, Democrat and Republican. Everybody in that town is guilty of something.

I highly recommend the Netflix documentary "Get Me Roger Stone". It might get some of the history a little bit wrong, but it does a great job of helping explain why Roger Stone is one of the most important political lobbyists of all time.

  • The way this appears to be going, it makes Halderman and Ehrlichman look like Boy Scouts in Watergate.

  • Another arrest. The crimes he’s charged with only occurred in relation to the investigation. Current total charges by Mueller of crimes related to the election: zero.

We are in a very interesting time in the cases against Trump campaign manager and associates role in this matter. I suspect we will learn more in the months to come.

The next question is how much did Trump know and how much input did he have?

Or was this all just happening around him and somehow he didn't have that much inside knowledge of his own campaign.

Two thoughts... 1, Stone was basically arrested for going on a witch hunt. Ironic. 2, If the 'leaked emails' and or the unsecured emails were not a thing, this would not be an issue... seems to me that the guilty party should be Wikileaks for stealing them... or HRC for using a private, unsecured server. How can we hang Stone without acknowledging one or both of those scenarios as truth?

It's predictable and somewhat comical to hear all the Trump supporters doing their best to finesse the Rodger Stone arrest as well as other criminal activities from members of the Trump campaign. John Commons of Red Commons is one who submits that all politicians, given deep enough scrutiny by intelligence agencies, would be found guilty of something. While it's convenient to make such a point, it does not, nor should it dismiss the crimes that members of the Trump campaign and most likely, the President

While it's convenient to make such a point, it does not, nor should it dismiss the crimes that members of the Trump campaign and most likely, the President himself have committed to prostitute themselves for electotal victory. To cavalierly dismiss these crimes on the basis that other politicians may have committed crimes is akin to saying, other people have gotten away with murder, so someone indicted for murder should get off as well.

There were red flags waving frantically and billows of black (or should I say red) smoke churning from and around the Trump campaign in 2016 that was so thick that anyone of concern had to investigate. Why so many leaders in the Republican Party have chosen to discard their morals, character, and patriotism to defend this President is beyond me, but the long-term damage that these GOP leaders have done to their party is incalculable and will be felt for decades.

Yes. It's all a witch hunt. Hey, super geniuses, your logic is flawed. Hillary had multiple year investigations and they found nothing.

This will be interesting, Stone has sworn to fight the allegations, unlike Flynn and Cohen, pleading guilty. So fare, all Mueller has obtained, is a years old money laundering, one obstruction, and mostly lying to the FBI. Do you hear Russia anywhere, or Collusion?

  • It's about time. This guy had been the reconnaissance guy running diversion and logistics for Trumplestiltskin for years.

He is known for his flash and style, and he would never be seen in an orange jump suit. He'll sing to Mueller like a canary.

  • Mueller investigation is doing a good job in diverting attention from the queen of the swamp madam Hillary. So called sec of state Hillary was too involved in her own private business(the Clinton foundation) to pay any attention to the Benghazi debacle .

  • Roger Stone has been at the periphery of the largest US political scandals for the last 40 years; watergate, 2000 Election, and now this. He has played a part in some sleazy practices with regards to politicians. Now, if his history serves him right (hopefully it won’t), he will walk away from this unscathed, continuing on with his obscure life in Florida.

I would recommend anyone interested in Roger Stone to watch the Netflix documentary film “Get Me Roger Stone”. A great insight into the inner

Astounds me that so many, such as the above comment of Mr Kaplan demonstrates, the minute wrong doing by this administration is mentioned, want to divert attention to Hillary Clinton.

    First, Hillary was not president.

Second, the GOP ace prosecutor investigated her for years with no result. With that said, even if there is something there, what does that have to do with this administration?

The leftist scare me more than Trump. They ignore due process and support a shakedown operation by threatening people for Intel before they have evidence of wrongdoing. I don't give a rip about this case until the pay equal attention to the blatant misdemeanors from Hillary’s clan and her intentional breaches of national security. They not only ignore known violations but protect her. Not right and not good.
