Coca-Cola $KO has launched three limited-edition drinks tied to Universal's upcoming animated film "Minions & Monsters," available at Coca-Cola Freestyle machines in AMC theaters nationwide through July 29, according to Allrecipes.
The three flavors are Sprite Bello Yello, Minute Maid Goomi Green, and Fanta Irene Infusion. All three are available in both full-sugar and zero-sugar varieties.
Each drink pulls its name and flavor profile from the film's characters: the Sprite Bello Yello riffs on the Minions' greeting and is built from Sprite Lemonade and Sprite Pineapple; the Minute Maid Goomi Green takes its name from the story's villain and draws on Minute Maid Limeade, Mello Yello Citrus Twist, and Sprite Vanilla; and the Fanta Irene Infusion honors the movie's central monster through a pairing of Fanta Orange and Fanta Fruit Punch.
Theatergoers have until July 29 to try the sodas — a window that extends well past the movie's July 1 opening.
