Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced its new AI system. “Apple Intelligence” is a new collection of AI features that is focused on personal products, and privacy is a huge goal of executives.
The company is also putting ChatGPT on iPhones, iPads, and Macs. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman posted on X that he’s “very happy to be partnering with apple to integrate chatgpt into their devices later this year!”
Two planes nearly collided at Mumbai’s airport. An IndiGo flight landed just as an Air India flight was taking off on the same runway at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport June 8.
Walmart’s stock went up even further thanks to an upgrade from JPMorgan. The bank hiked Walmart’s rating from Neutral to Overweight and lifted the firm’s price target from $66 to $81 a share.
Moderna’s COVID-flu combo shot is outperforming in trials
Moderna said yesterday that its experimental combination vaccines against COVID-19 and the flu produced a higher immune response than existing standalone vaccines in a late-stage trial.
“Combination vaccines have the potential to reduce the burden of respiratory viruses on health systems and pharmacies, as well as offer people more convenient vaccination options that could improve compliance and provide stronger protection from seasonal illnesses,” Moderna’s CEO Stéphane Bancel said in a statement. “Moderna is the only company with a positive Phase 3 flu and COVID combination vaccine.”
The combo shot could also help Moderna offset declining demand for COVID-19 vaccines — but Pfizer and Novovax aren’t far behind, as both are also developing their own combo shots.
One big number: $100 million
