Delta Air Lines continued to cancel flights yesterday because of CrowdStrike. The carrier is struggling to recover after a global software outage forced it to ground and delay trips last week.
Ryanair had a rough second quarter. The Irish airline’s stock plummeted yesterday after it reported less than stellar earnings, led by low customer demand, higher labor costs, and Boeing-related delivery delays.
Boeing called dibs on plane orders from Korean Air and Japan Airlines. The planemaker said it had secured roughly 80 orders from the two airlines, beating out French rival Airbus.
McDonald’s $5 meal deal was extended. The fast food giant plans to continue offering the bundle at 93% of the chain’s U.S.-based locations (but the timetables vary).
