A SpaceX company town?

Many employees at Elon Musk’s SpaceX live in Starbase, a community near Brownsville, Texas. Now, SpaceX is trying to incorporate Starbase as its own municipality.

Musk has been talking about incorporating Starbase since 2021. “To continue growing the workforce necessary to rapidly develop and manufacture Starship, we need the ability to grow Starbase as a community,” Kathryn Lueders, Starbase’s general manager, wrote in a letter to the state of Texas.

A profitable triumvirate

Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and American Airlines are three of America’s biggest carriers. In 2025, they’ll likely make some of its biggest profits as well.
