The co-branded XLT Crew Cab adds $4,195 to the base price and goes on sale May 8

Ford $F and Carhartt are introducing a co-branded package for the 2027 Super Duty pickup, with orders opening Friday, May 8. The Carhartt Package adds $4,195 to the base price of the XLT Crew Cab and is exclusive to the four-wheel-drive, single-rear-wheel configuration with the 40/console/40 seating arrangement, according to Car and Driver.
On the outside, a dark-painted grille and body-color bumpers anchor the look, while reflective Carhartt branding appears on the fender vents and textured graphics run across the doors and tailgate. A set of 20-inch painted and machined aluminum wheels — their design drawing from the manhole covers found near Carhartt's Detroit flagship — comes wrapped in LT275/65R20E all-terrain tires. Off-road running boards, LED fog lamps, LED roof marker and clearance lamps, and a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner with the Carhartt logo round out the exterior additions. Six colors are available: Marsh Gray, Iconic Silver Metallic, Agate Black Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Oxford White, and Neptune Blue, which is new for the 2027 model year.
The cabin takes cues from Carhartt's Duck Canvas and triple-stitch heritage — that signature stitching shows up on the door trim panels and center console lid, and Carhartt logos are embroidered into the front headrests and seat map pockets. Carhartt-branded all-weather floor mats, with a texture drawn from the brand's tool bag line, are also included.
Engine choices mirror those of the standard XLT, according to Car and Driver: a 7.3-liter gasoline V-8 putting out 430 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque, or a Power Stroke 6.7-liter diesel V-8 available in two states of tune — 475 horsepower with 1,050 pound-feet, or 500 horsepower with 1,200 pound-feet. Buyers get the XLT Premium Package included as standard equipment, with the FX4 Off-Road Package available as an add-on.
The truck is one part of a broader collaboration between the two Detroit-based companies. The collaboration grew out of direct observation of the people who rely on both products every day, Ford Pro president Alicia Boler Davis told Fox Business. As part of the broader initiative, both companies are backing the Detroit ToolBank, a local nonprofit whose mission is to provide tools on loan to community groups and volunteer operations. Ford has also rolled out a separate initiative, "From Our Business to Yours," through which commercial customers and fleet operators can access below-MSRP pricing equivalent to what Ford employees receive.
