Narendra Modi has once again found himself among India’s most-viewed CEOs on LinkedIn.
The professional networking portal listed Modi, along with seven other CEOs, in its annual LinkedIn Power Profiles list, published on Aug. 12. Using member data from 2015 to 2016, LinkedIn listed a total of 48 most-viewed profiles across sectors such as technology, human resources, internet, finance, and marketing.
Modi’s avid use of social media might have something to do with his position. He has over 22 million followers on Twitter, 1.8 million on LinkedIn, 35 million on Facebook, and 3.7 million followers on Instagram.
“Dynamic, dedicated and determined, Narendra Modi arrives as a ray of hope in the lives of a billion Indians,” Modi’s LinkedIn profile says. He was on the same list last year as well because “CEOs steer a group of people in a direction, and as a leader, Modi is doing that for India,” according to a spokesperson for LinkedIn.
Other Indian CEOs on the list include Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and Snapdeal co-founder Kunal Bahl.
