Total compensation at Jane Street reached $9.38 billion in 2025, a figure that represents more than a twofold increase from the prior year, Bloomberg reported. Spread across its workforce, that sum amounts to roughly $2.68 million per person — a per-employee figure nearly seven times higher than what Goldman Sachs $GS paid its staff.
The jump in pay came alongside a record year for the firm's trading operations. Trading revenue for the year came in at roughly $39.6 billion, surpassing what both major Wall Street banks and competing market makers generated, Bloomberg reported.
