Mountain Dew is releasing glass bottles of Baja Blast made with real sugar rather than the high-fructose corn syrup used in the standard cans and plastic bottles, according to Allrecipes.

Mountain Dew is releasing glass bottles of Baja Blast made with real sugar rather than the high-fructose corn syrup used in the standard cans and plastic bottles, according to Allrecipes.
At 12 ounces, the bottles match the capacity of a standard can while falling short of the 20-ounce plastic bottle, and the sea-green liquid is fully visible through the clear glass, according to Allrecipes. The label on each bottle reads "made with real sugar."
Retailers where the glass bottles have turned up so far include 7-Eleven, Kroger, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, and Woodman's Markets, according to Allrecipes.
Mountain Dew, a brand owned by PepsiCo $PEP, has leaned into a string of special releases throughout the summer. The brand sold limited-edition commemorative can bundles for five cents on TikTok Shop as part of its "American Original — Tasting Great Since '48" campaign, which launched in April. Mountain Dew is among the PepsiCo brands that each generate more than $1 billion in annual retail sales, the company said.
