The Morris County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that no one has been charged in connection with the killing of a New Jersey therapist, more than a month after her body was discovered.
A 911 call brought officers to the Chester Township residence where Hanlon, 35, was found dead on the afternoon of June 6, according to ABC News. According to prosecutors, the manner of death was homicide, with "multiple sharp force injuries" cited as the cause. The case remains under active investigation.
Hanlon worked as a therapist at a practice in Bernardsville, New Jersey. "Brooke was a beloved member of our Bernardsville team and an exceptional therapist who was highly dedicated to her clients," a LifeStance spokesperson told ABC News. She is survived by her husband and a baby daughter.
Her sister, Paige Haggerty, described Hanlon as "the sweetest, purest person that I have ever known in my entire life," and called the baby "the only saving grace," according to ABC News.

Update, July 16, 2026: Brooke Hanlon's husband, Conor Hanlon, has reportedly lawyered up and was spotted twice in the past week in Boston and Chester, New Jersey, according to reports. (per CBS News)
