Bazzini, LLC, a co-manufacturer for SkinnyDipped, issued the recall after a consumer found peanut butter-containing products inside almond bite wrappers

SkinnyDipped's Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites are being recalled over the possible presence of an undeclared peanut allergen, according to a notice published on the Food and Drug Administration's website. People with peanut allergies risk a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the affected products, the company said.
The trigger for the recall was a consumer complaint: the shopper discovered peanut butter-containing products inside individually wrapped bites from a 3.17-ounce, 10-count package — a product made by Bazzini, LLC, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, which serves as a co-manufacturer for SkinnyDipped. Peanuts and peanut butter are not intended ingredients in the product, the company said. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported.
The recall covers a limited number of cases distributed nationwide through retailers. Some products were also provided as complimentary samples. No other SkinnyDipped products are affected.
Seven product varieties are included in the recall, spanning multiple package sizes and lot codes: the 10-count and 6-count 3.17-ounce bags, a 4-count 3.17-ounce bag, a 50-count and 24-count single-serve size, a 20-count Easter edition, and a 32-count shipper that also contains Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. Affected products carry best-by dates ranging from Dec. 20, 2026, through Dec. 29, 2026. Consumers can identify recalled products by the lot code and best-by date printed on the exterior packaging and on each individually wrapped bite.
Anyone who purchased the affected product should bring it back to the retailer where it was bought for a complete refund. SkinnyDipped's customer line at 1-866-957-9907 and [email protected] are available for anyone seeking additional information about the recall.
