Starbucks $SBUX will add five orange cream-flavored drinks to its menu on July 28 for a limited time, the company said.
The five drinks are the Orange Cream Cold Brew, Iced Orange Cream Latte, Iced Orange Cream Matcha, Iced Orange Cream Chai, and Orange Cream Frappuccino, the company said. Depending on the drink, the orange-vanilla flavor is incorporated either as an ingredient mixed into the beverage itself or as a topping in the form of Orange Cream Cold Foam, Allrecipes reported.
Orange Cream Cold Foam sits atop the cold brew in the Orange Cream Cold Brew. Blonde Espresso, milk, and orange-vanilla flavor poured over ice make up the Iced Orange Cream Latte. Both the Iced Orange Cream Matcha and Iced Orange Cream Chai get their orange-vanilla character from the same cold foam topping — the former built on a base of matcha and milk, the latter on spiced chai, the company said.
A double layer of whipped cream — one on the bottom, one on top — frames the Orange Cream Frappuccino, a frozen drink in which orange and vanilla flavors are mixed together with milk and ice, the company said.
July 28 will also bring the debut of a collaboration between Starbucks and Dandy Worldwide, a fashion label based in Southern California, in the form of a limited-edition merchandise collection. Items in the collection, which include drinkware and a hat, will be sold at participating stores across the U.S. and Canada for as long as stock remains, the company said.
Starbucks is not alone in leaning into orange cream as a summer flavor. Arby's brought back its Orange Cream Shake for the summer, offering the frozen drink in small, medium, and large sizes starting at $3.69, though prices vary by location.
