Taco Bell is bringing back its birria-inspired Shredded Beef Dipping Taco and debuting a new Shredded Beef Nacho Fries, with both items available nationwide at participating locations starting May 21 for a limited time, the company said.

Taco Bell is bringing back its birria-inspired Shredded Beef Dipping Taco and debuting a new Shredded Beef Nacho Fries, with both items available nationwide at participating locations starting May 21 for a limited time, the company said.
The Shredded Beef Dipping Taco consists of slow-braised shredded beef, a three-cheese blend, and creamy jalapeño sauce wrapped in a white corn tortilla with a grilled cheese crust, served alongside a red dipping sauce. It is priced at $3.99. The new Shredded Beef Nacho Fries top Taco Bell's existing Nacho Fries with the same slow-braised shredded beef, pico de gallo, a three-cheese blend, nacho cheese sauce, and creamy jalapeño sauce, priced at $5.49.
Both items draw on birria, the slow-braised, seasoned beef dish traditionally served with a rich broth for dipping, the company said. Fans can also order the Shredded Beef Dipping Taco as part of a $9 Discovery Luxe Box, which includes a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, Doritos Locos Tacos, chips and nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink.

"This one is rich, crispy and melty, so when you dip it in the savory sauce, every bite of the Shredded Beef Dipping Taco feels like a new discovery of flavors."
The return of the Shredded Beef Dipping Taco is one of several limited-time menu moves Taco Bell has made this year. The chain launched a Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza on the same date — May 21 — adding slow-roasted chicken to its long-running menu staple. That item was among more than 20 announcements Taco Bell made at its Live Más Live event in March.
