A shooting at a Toronto street festival Saturday evening left two people dead and six others wounded, according to Toronto police.
Shots rang out at approximately 8:12 p.m. near St. Clair and Arlington avenues, disrupting Salsa on St. Clair, an annual two-day street event featuring music, dancing, food, and art rooted in Latino culture. Of those shot, two died at the scene; four survivors were admitted to hospital in serious condition, and one additional person was taken to hospital with injuries that were not specified, reported.
