AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Upland Software Inc. (UPLD) on Thursday reported a loss of $16 million in its fourth quarter.

The Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 56 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 14 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 22 cents per share.

The maker of cloud-based enterprise work-management software posted revenue of $72.2 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $71.5 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $179.9 million, or $5.77 per share. Revenue was reported as $297.9 million.

For the current quarter ending in March, Upland Software said it expects revenue in the range of $65 million to $71 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $259 million to $283 million.
