Climate change is becoming a defining theme of the global economy and decarbonisation is vital if we’re to achieve the two degree rise in temperature agreed in 2015 in Paris. Analysis from Schroders, a UK-based investment manager, has studied 12 indicators that show the progress being made towards this goal. The above dashboard compares projections made by international organisations to estimate the temperature change implied by the progress in each area. Together, they suggest we are heading for a rise closer to four degrees.
