As the world’s business and political leaders gather for the annual World Economic Forum, Quartz’s economic reporter Eshe Nelson interviewed United Nations secretary-general António Guterres at the forum in Davos, Switzerland. Watch a replay of the livestream here:

Guterres is the ninth secretary-general, following a 10-year stint as the UN’s High Commissioner for Refugees. Before that, he was the prime minister of Portugal.

Last week, Guterres laid out the UN’s top five priorities on his watch—“diplomacy for peace; ambitious climate action; acceleration towards the Sustainable Development Goals; better governance over new technologies; and stronger UN values worldwide.”

This year, environmental and climate threats are high on the rankings of risks facing business and the world economy, according to a survey by the World Economic Forum. Shortly after his discussion with Quartz, Guterres was scheduled to give a keynote speech to Davos delegates in the Congress Centre.
