If you were wondering when you could buy The End of Power through Amazon again (the paperback version sold out within days of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg putting the Moisés Naím book at the top of his reading list for 2015), you’re in luck. It’s back in stock on the retailer’s US website.
It’s also making its way to the top of the sales charts. At 4pm New York time today, the paperback edition of the book was at No. 6 on Amazon’s best sellers list, which is updated hourly. It was ranked 12th as of 7:21pm yesterday.
And before Zuckerberg revealed his New Year’s resolution to read a book every two weeks, and invited the world to discuss his inaugural selection on a Facebook page dedicated to his year-long endeavor? You would have had to go down to number 44,369 on Amazon’s list of best sellers to find The End of Power, a spokeswoman for the retailer tells Quartz. The Kindle edition for Amazon’s e-reader also is selling briskly, jumping 191,057 spots since Zuckerberg’s announcement to 29th place on the list of top-selling Kindle books.
And Amazon isn’t the only place where The End of Power—named to the Financial Times’ 2013 list of best books—has gotten a second sales wind, as the author indicated in a tweet he sent yesterday.
