Google’s biggest event of the year is finally here.

The tech community has been eagerly waiting for Google I/O, the search giant’s annual confab for developers, where Google is all but certain to unveil the next generation of Android.

For Google, the show is an opportunity to drum up excitement over its latest and greatest, in hopes of convincing developers to build their apps using the Mountain View, California company’s platform and services.

Today in San Francisco, Google is widely expected to debut its Apple Pay contender, reveal updates to its Android Wear platform, and show a refresh of its popular streaming device Chromecast. Here’s more about what to expect in our I/O preview.

To follow along as it happens, watch the keynote livestream here. It starts at 9:30am PT.
